The purpose of the Show-Me Readers Award is to promote literature, literacy and reading in Missouri elementary school grades 1-3, and to recognizauthors and illustrators of books that are favorites of Missouri children in these grades. Each year, Missouri schoolchildren vote for their favorite book from a list of nominated titles. The Show-Me 1-2-3 Readers Award is awarded to the author of this book by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. |

Mrs. Lynde and Mrs. Williams will read some of the titles to the 3rd grade classes but students will need to read the rest independently. |
