Progress reports will be sent home on Thurs. I am very proud of the students. We have been covering very difficult material and the current class average is 91%
We will be beginning chapter 5: Equations and Inequalities. This material is essential to the students' success in algebra I next year. Encourage the students to see me if they are struggling. Once you fall behind it is very difficult to "catch up".
There is a Chapter Review and Chapter Test after each chapter that would be helpful in preparing for a test. There are also "extra practice" problems in the back of the text book. I have also offered to run off additional practice work for any student who feels it would be helpful.
I am able to email the smartboard files that I use to teach in class as a PDF file. If you feel this would be helpful when you child is sick, email me and I would glad to forward the files to you.
I am at school most mornings by 7:00 a.m. If the students are "stuck" on a few homework problems, I would be glad to help them then.
