Progress reports will be sent home on Thurs. I am very proud of the students. We have been covering very difficult material and the class average is 93%

The students did very well on our test covering the first half of the chapter on polynomials. The material becomes more difficult as we progress through the chapter. We will not have a test this week. Please encourage the students to see me during AR or before school if they need extra help. It is very difficult to catch up if they have missed important concepts.

We have completed round one test for the Catholic Math League Competition. Congratulations to our round one winners: Austin Sottile (24), Andrew Burnham (23), Colin Dunne (23), and Emily Schueppert (23). We will take the round 2 in December.

There is a Chapter Review and Chapter Test after each chapter that would be helpful in preparing for a test. There are also "extra practice" problems in the back of the text book. I have also offered to run off additional practice work for any student who feels it would be helpful.
