Nov. 9 -12
We have begun the work in chapter 4: Polynomials. We will be working adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials this week. Please encourage the students to see me during AR or before school if they need extra help. It is very difficult to catch up if you missed important concepts.
We will be taking the first test in the Catholic Math League (formerly Math Facts) on Monday. Please encourage the students to do their best.
There is a Chapter Review and Chapter Test after each chapter that would be helpful in preparing for a test. There are also "extra practice" problems in the back of the text book. I have also offered to run off additional practice work for any student who feels it would be helpful.
I am able to email the smartboard files that I use to teach in class as a PDF file. If you feel they would be helpful.
I am at school most mornings by 7:00 a.m. If the students are "stuck" on a few homework problems, I would be glad to help them then.
