The Religion classes are preparing for the coming of Our Lord at Christmas through daily Advent reflections and actions we can apply to our lives.

 

 

We are also practicing Christmas songs and will use our beautiful voices and harmonies when we go caroling in December.

 

 

We will continue making sandwiches in the Religion classes for the poor and homeless but not until January. Periods 2 and 4 need to bring their cheese and meat next. Dates to be determined.

 

 

We have begun the study of:

 

 

1. the Mass and its different sections.

(Do you know the two main parts of the Mass?)

 

2. the three roles of the Church during the liturgy.

(When is the priest in the role of the prophet?)

 

3. the only Greek part of the Mass.

(What was the language of the Mass until Vatican II?)

 

4. the seven precepts.

(Which is the first?)
