As Ambassadors for Christ we will be "Living
Our Faith" by supporting the Immigrant and Refugee ministry at St. Pius V in
south St. Louis City this school year.
Under the direction of Sr. Paulette Weindel,
this ministry welcomes, assists and advocates for refugees and immigrants who
are settling in nearby neighborhoods. We can help with the following needs:
Diapers
Detergent
Paper products
(paper plates, cups, napkins, paper towels,
toilet paper, kleenex )
Gift certificates to Shop'N Save
We will be talking with the students about
this ministry throughout the year and ask that they do good deeds at home to
raise money to contribute to this ministry, or bring in one of the items
listed above on a monthly basis.
