Can my child bring a toy to school?

Yes. We ask that toys be limited to small stuffed animals and
toys and that they fit into thier backpacks. They may take them
out to the playground at recess time and return to thier
backpacks when we come back inside. Jump ropes and Skip-Its are
also allowed. NO electronic games should come to school-Nintendo
DS or Gameboys.

Can my child wear tennis shoes every day?

Yes and No! They can wear tennis shoes daily through the month
of September and then again during the month of May. Beginning
October 1 they may only wear tennis shoes on our PE days. Dress
shoes are to be worn on non PE days.

Can my daughter wear pants when the weather gets colder?

Pants can be worn under their jumper to school, but must be taken
off upon arrival. They will be permitted to put them on before
any out door recess, but must be taken off again when they come
back in. Tights are a great way to keep legs covered. See the
Dress Code Regulations on the school website for specifics. It's
always a good idea for the girls to wear navy shorts under their
jumpers. They move around in ways you and I can't!

How can I reach Mrs. Matye with questions or concerns?

The best and quickest way to reach me is to either send a note
with your child in the morning or call the school office and
leave a message. I will always get back to you within 24 hours
and most probably the same day.
