I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Edcation from Florida
Technological University in Orlando, Florida and a State of Missouri
Teacher's Certificate for grades one through eight. My experince includes
teaching first grade and resource teacher at Wheatley Elementary
School,Apopka, Florida and remedial teacher at Orange House Alternative
School for boys ranging in age from 13 to 18 years in Orlando, Florida. I
started teaching at Incarnate Word in 1987. During the first five years I
taught 5th grade. I moved to fourth grade and have continued to teach at
this grade level.
MY GOAL IS TO TEACH AS JESUS DID
* as a teacher of Incarnate Word Parish.
* through dedication to the Catholic philosophy of education in the
Archdiocese of St. Louis.
* in partnership with parents, the child's primary educators.
* by providing a full curriculum in response to my students' intellectual,
spiritual, moral, emotional, aesthetic, physical, and social needs.
* by stressing the importance of developing a sense of personal
responsibility, self-worth, and a Catholic-Christian concern for others.
* by creating an environment in which each student may develop to her/his
full potential.
* by encouraging full participation in the sacramental life of the Parish
through worship and service to others.
