| PHYSICAL EDUCATION POINT SYSTEM
GRADES K - 3
Students may earn 10 points each time they come to class:
2 pts. Participation: student is actively playing the game/activity
2 pts. Effort: student is "trying" their personal best
3 pts. Behavior / Conduct: student is respectful to teacher and fellow
classmates, exhibits self-control
3pts. Sportsmanship: student is playing fairly and follows the rules,
students are supportive of fellow students
* * * Students are expected to be in proper uniform for each Physical
Education class as stated in the Incarnate Word Parent-Student
Handbook.
* * * Students are not penalized 10 points when they are absent or cannot
participate due to medical reasons. They are excused.

GRADES 4 - 8
2 pts. Proper dress: white T-shirt, tennis shoes, navy shorts
( school uniform shorts are acceptable as
stated in IW Handbook under PE attire)
Boys in grades K-4 may wear the uniform shirt to class
2 pts. Participation: student is actively playing game/activity
2 pts. Effort: student is "trying" their personal best in class
2 pts. Behavior/Conduct: student is respectful to teacher and fellow
classmates, exhibits self-control
