Welcome 3rd grade students and parents. Thank you for visiting!

This is the year for our 3rd graders to begin to assume responsibility for their education and become life-long learners. Third grade is a year of transition from the development of skills to the development of independence!

Unlike second grade, where so much time is spent reinforcing the skills taught in first grade, many new and more sophisticated skills are introduced in third grade.
We will be studying and working on many new and exciting things this year. 

I have designed this site to keep you informed about what is going on in our 3rd grade world.  I update it often, so make sure that you check back from time to time.
