WELCOME


 

"We have fun with the 'Wild Animal' theme. Through this theme, concepts in Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Art can be presented. We read and write about animals. We research and learn about the Animal Kingdom. It's fun to count and graph animals. Much can be learned about Geography as we discover where animals live. Spelling words and Art projects can be based on our theme. Plant life, growing conditions, and weather are all explored in our world as we see how animals adapt.

This 'theme' is a layer of a carefully constructed curriculum based on State and Archdiocesan standards. All of this is viewed as wonders created by God. The lessons will be presented with that emphasis. We will remember to be thankful for the gifts of nature in our world, and we will learn how people are responsible for them.
