Mrs. Banashek-Twist (called "B-T" but formerly known as "B-C" to her
students) has taught for 16 years in various schools in the St. Louis,
Boston, Seattle, and Des Moines areas before she joined the Parkway North
faculty in 2006. She earned her B.S. English Education from Miami University
(Ohio) and her Master's degree in English from the University of Missouri.
Although she is teaching freshmen and juniors at North, she has taught
English, speech, and drama to grades 7-12 and coached speech & debate over
the course of her career. Mrs. B-T is the mother of 2 wonderful boys, ages 6
and 10, and sings with the St. Louis Chamber Chorus.
