DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS!

When it is your birthday, you are invited to bring in a birthday book. You can wrap up a favorite book from home or a new one and then bring it to class on your birthday. You can unwrap it in front of the class and choose to read it yourself or have me read it!

Please remember that if you want to send in a treat to celebrate your child's birthday that we are a Peanut Free school! All items must be store bought. I would appreciate if you could let me know ahead of time if you are sending in a treat. A great time for the students to pass out treats is at lunch time to guarantee that all students will be there for the celebration! Please make sure that you send all needed materials with the treat (ex. napkins, forks, etc).

If you are having a birthday party, please remember that I can only send home invitations if you invite all of the boys, all of the girls, or the whole class to discourage any hurt feelings. Have your student give me the invitations and I will put them in their mailboxes! If you would like to have a smaller party and want to invite a friend from school, please use the Family Connections book to get their address or phone number. I appreciate your understanding on this matter.
