HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL OF THE STUDENTS BACK IN TWO WEEKS TO START A
WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!
A few months ago, we began the Character Kids program. I realized I have
forgotten to update you on our chosen Character Kids. To be chosen, students
need to exhibit character traits suchs as kindness, reponsibility, generosity,
respect, etc. Our first students to join were Katy and Jake. Next, Marie and
Kaden joined the group. Our last to join so far were Emily and Snehal. Great
job boys and girls! Congratulations goes out to you and your families for
doing such a great job. I can't wait to find out who will join this awesome
group next!
Please use our calendar on this site to remember any important dates and
events going on at Rock Creek! You can look ahead at each month and I am
trying to update a month ahead also!
Keep working on all of the sight words, new and old. Practice them
daily/weekly to make sure your child keeps up with all of the first grade words.
