Mission for Middle School Social Studies Courses

In the middle school, students strive to learn how to apply the methods of
social science to the subjects of geography and history. The courses are
designed to expand each students knowledge of the world around them and
develop research and learning skills for life. In addition to geography and
history, students in the sixth and eighth grades also have the chance to
explore economics through the Junior Achievement program and students in the
seventh grade will explore global current events and diplomacy though the
Model United Nations program.
