This is my sixth year at St. Gerard Majella teaching the fourth grade. It is my pleasure to be your
child's fourth grade teacher this year. I have previously taught third grade at Christ, Prince of Peace
and 2 years in the Public School System. I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University. I have three
children who attended Christ, Prince of Peace. My oldest (daughter) attended St. Joseph's Academy
and Washington University. She resides in Chicago and is a Director in the Advisory Department at
Price, Waterhouse, Coopers. My second child (son) attended Chaminade and Washington University.
He is married and manages a software company (Information Builders) in Seattle, Washington. He is
soon to become a first time dad which means I am going to become a first time Grandma. My third
child (son) attended St. Louis Priory. He graduated this year from Emory University in Atlanta and is
now gainfully employed with Price, Waterhouse, Coopers in Chicago as an Associate in their Advisory
Department. We now have two wonderful places to visit. Can you tell that I am a very proud mother?
My husband, a Consultant, and I have been married for 38 years and are members of Christ, Prince of
Peace. We enjoy traveling, dining out, and our children. I love children and math (as your child will
soon find out). Again, I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your child's
teacher. I am looking forward to a very successful and spiritual year.
My mission for 4A is to help them find Christ-Like qualities in each other and
themselves. We will discover that we are each unique and special. I am hopeful
that the children will leave fourth grade having a positive attitude and
confidence in themselves and their abilities.
