Hello Everyone ~
This month you may again choose a book of your choice. As always, read at
least 15 minutes each night and keep track of your books on your Reading
Record.
For your report, you are going to make a book commercial. Think about the
commercials on TV. They really try ot sell items to you by being really fun,
exciting, and interesting. You are going to try to "sell" your book, too.
Make your ad appeal to your classmates. Summer iscoming and you want your
fellow students to read your book during the summer.
How will you get them to read it? You can make a jngle (a short song); have
a catchy phrase or use charts and colorful posters to advertise your book. Be
creative and have fun with it. You will need more than one night to do this
so try to get some ideas together as you are reading the book. I look forward
to seeing some very interstin and creative commercials! Whow knows? Maybe you
will even insporte me to read your book this summer!
