In addition to teaching Course 1 math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Spanish, I
am also one of the cheerleading sponsors and I am the sponsor of the National
Junior Honor Society. As you can imagine, I have a pretty busy life right
now. But, in my free time, I enjoy reading, watching GOOD movies, swimming,
and jogging.
I attended college at Southeast Missouri State University, where I majored in
elementary education with a specialization in Science. Math, however, is my
FAVORITE subject. I have many new ideas for next year. Each Friday, the
students will be participating in math "centers" that will be set up in the
classroom. The activities in the centers will revolve around the concepts
being learned in the current chapter. I am really looking forward to trying
this next year!
