Homework will be sent home as needed.
Math homework is sent home when the teacher feels practice is needed.
Several students still do not know all of the letters of the alphabet. Please
practice with your child. Your child should be able to recognize the letters
at random. You can buy magnet letters for a dollar often at Wal-Mart or the
Dollar Store. Have your child identify them and then have them put them in
alphabetical order.
Several of the students are still having trouble with identifying, writing and
counting using their numbers 0 through 31. You could have them make their
numbers and cut them into cards and practice them with a sibling. You could
have them write a number and them have them put that many stickers or dots on
the same sheet.
