Important Message
Springfield Public Schools is currently experiencing problems with its e-mail
system. We have recently received several phishing e-mails, resulting in the
SPS e-mail account being blocked by large e-mail providers such as SBCGLOBAL
and Hotmail, among others.
We have requested that these e-mail providers remove SPS from their blocked
lists and they have done so. However, as these phishing e-mails continue to
cycle through our e-mail system we may be repeatedly blocked as it runs its
course.
Unfortunately this is disrupting e-mail communication between parents and SPS
teachers. Please understand that SPS has not blocked parents’ e-mail
addresses. Instead, SPS e-mails have been blocked by parents’ e-mail providers
