8th grade research powerpoint project.
Students will do a powerpoint presentation on the time period and historical
background of "To Kill A Mockingbird".
Students will have 2 days of computer lab tim to complete their
presentations. Upon completing the presentation one copy needs to be saved
online in their gaggle virtual locker and another copy needs to be emailed to
me. Students will present Thursday and Friday of this week.
Presentation must contain a title page containing topic, student name, and
class period. The body of the presentation will be no less than 5 pages, no
more than 10. Students may include photographs etc., but the photographs
must be relevant to the presentation. The presentation needs to be written
in a way that teaches the rest of the class about the chosen topic. The
presentation must include a works cited page at the very end, listing all
internet sources used for the project.
Possible topics.
Jim Crow laws, 1930's, racial segregation, racial discrimination, The Great
Depression, Scottsboro Trial, the Civil Rights movement, lynching/lynch
mobs. Students may also come up with their own topics, which they are free
to use after my approval.
7th grade powerpoint presentation
Students. Using your Tools of Persuasion Handout and homework, design a
brief, 4 slide powerpoint presentation, showing your company name/logo,
w/your name on the first slide, then write an advertisement for each of the
remaining slides using 3 of the Tools of Persuasion to sell your product or
service. You may include art and photos. Save one copy to your gaggle
virtual locker and email me one copy before you leave the lab. You will
present Thursday and Friday of this week.
