Welcome to 7th grade! My name is Lisa Downs and I will be your 7th grade
ICT 1 teacher. I am so excited about having you in my class. I know we are
going to have a spectacular year. This is my 18th year for teaching. I
taught fourth grade at BMS for fourteen years, and this is my fourth year at
BJH. I love teaching, and I am looking forward to working with you. I am
married to a wonderful man named Donald Downs. He teaches at the high
school, so you may be in his class one day. He teaches the 9th grade
STEM class. He is an awesome teacher! We have two sons and a daughter-in-
law. Matt and Jess are at Northwest Community College and Chris is attending
Mississippi State University. We live on a farm with lots of cows and 4 dogs
I am excited about getting this year started, and I can't wait to find out
more about you.
I want all of my students to be able to type 30+ words by the end of the
year. I want them to feel comfortable using Office 2007.
