My name is Laurie Jones. I have 4 children, a husband and a basset hound. I
have been in choir all of my life and love sharing this with your children. I
am a native Mississippian, and graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in
Vocal Music Education.
My desire in choir is to expose your children to the world of music. Choral
music, specifically. When they leave their first year of choir, I want them
to be able to read music and to appreciate many different musical styles.
I have been able to go to great places through my experiences in choir and I
want to not only equip your students with a musical education, but also,
broaden their horizons to what is possible in their own lives.
