Hi. Welcome to the web page for Mrs. Hardin's 6th and 7th grade Social
Studies classes. My name is Joy Hardin and this is my third year teaching
here at Batesville Junior High. I'm orignially from Florence, Mississippi and
I graduated from Florence High School 2005. I am also a graduate of
Mississippi State University, which is where I completed the teacher
education program. I graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Secondary Education
(Social Studies concentration) and a minor in History. I am also certified to
teach middle school math and science.
I live in Oakland with my husband, Cody, and our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have a
very wide variety of interests which include, but are not limited to
photography, history, reading, music, and sports. I am a member of the
Batesville Junior Women's Leaque, National Association of Rocketry, National
Association of Educators, and a number of other organizations.
