Will there be any opportunities for extra credit?

The answer to this question depends entirely on the student. If the student 
has tried hard for the nine weeks, semester, etc., and just happens to fall 
a bit short of his or her desired grade, then I will make an effort to help 
that student in any way I can. I can possibly give an opportunity to do an 
additional assignment. The students should not count on extra credit!!! Work 
hard this year so that we will not have to worry about it.

Will there be a great deal of homework?

I am a firm believer in the notion that students can at times become 
overloaded with homework. I try to keep homework to a minimum. I want to 
give just enough homework so that the student receives the reinforcement to 
the material that we covered in class that day.
