** I will be out the weeks of Feb. 6 & 10 because my husband is having heart
surgery. During this time, students will memorize the conjugations of common
irregular verbs.
I have told the students that this is material that they can memorize without
me, and I am leaving plenty of practice material. They will have quizzes on
the memorized material each Friday.
I am also instructing the substitute to take up all classwork, and I will give
students grades on completing the activities. Therefore, if students stay on
task, they should earn some easy 100's.
On Monday, Feb. 6, students will receive information about an optional extra
credit project that is due Tuesday, Feb. 21.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at
cdrew@spsd.k12.ms.us.
On a personal note, I covet your prayers on Ronnie's behalf. Thanks.

I have a really crazy schedule this year. I will be at Pope for 1st period,
at SPHS for 3rd & 4th, and at BJHS for 6th & 7th.
All make-up work needs to be done in a timely manner. It's really important
for students to be here every day because it's difficult to learn a language
just from notes.
Any time a student is not happy with a grade, he or she may take a retest
within 5 working days. The original grade will be averaged with the new
grade.
Whenever a student needs to make up a grade or wants extra help, he or she
needs to talk to me. For my Pope students, I can arrive early and work with
them during home room. For the Batesville students, I can make arrangements
to stay later at either school or possibly work something out during 5th
period.
