Re: Scheduling
Setting the master schedule for a high school is a major undertaking. We take the requests that are made in the spring semester and then allocate teachers, sections, and rooms based upon student requests. It is an extremely time consuming process that takes several months to finalize. Choosing the classes for the following school year is a very important decision for both students and parents. We strongly encourage you to take time in making your decisions in your class selections. Please be aware that due to problems with schedule change requests in the past, we will not make a change to any students schedule if that student receives the classes that he or she requests. The only changes which will be considered in the fall are those which involve mistakes and omissions made by the school. Again, if the schedule matches the student requests made during the spring, we will not take a request for change. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

The pre-registration process for the 2008-2009 school year began in January. All students received an up-dated registration handbook and have made course choices for new school year. In April, students received verification sheets through their homerooms and were given an opportunity to make changes.
New student registration will begin on Monday, July 28, 2008. Students must register by appointment only. Appointments can be made beginning July 25 by calling 601-924-5443.
Students are assigned to counselors by the first letter of their last name.:

Beth Handley H – O
Becky Robinson P – Z
