About The Teacher

I started teaching United States history nine years ago at Terry High 
School.  I have only taught 11th grade history until this year, which will be 
my first to take a try at World History! I love antiques, funny stories, a 
good laugh, falling down, finding a quarter, telling stories about my kids, 
and teaching! My husband and I live in Olde Towne Clinton in a house we 
renovated several years ago.  We have two children, Hutson (5) and Joshua 
(3).  My husband is a banker and a graduate from Ole Miss.  I graduated with 
a double major from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.  I majored in 
History and Education.  I am currently taking classes at MC to obtain my 
Masters in Secondary Education with an emphasis in the Social Sciences.  I am 
a former member of Attache' and a Clinton 1995 graduate.  Looking forward to 
a great year!
