Welcome students and parents. My name is Mina Darnell, and this begins my
20th year to teach at Clinton High School. This year I will be teaching
Honors Trigonometry / Honors Advanced Algebra and Algebra II. I also help
teach the math portion of the Humanities course.
I am a graduate of Mississippi College with a BS degree in mathematics. I am
married to Tim Darnell and we have two daughters, Hannah age 12 and Rachel
age 8. My husband is a graduate of Mississippi State and is the Director of
Environmental Health with the State Department of Health.
I am looking forward to a great year with each of you.
My mission for my trig. students is to be as well prepared as possible to
step into AP Calculus next year.
My mission for my alg. students is to prepare them to step into a higher
level math course whether it be at the high school level or college level and
feel confident in their ability.
