Monday, Oct. 13
Objective: To introduce Chapter 3 about pastimes in Spanish and
to learn the first vocabulary words.
Do Now: Daily Sparkle
Procedure: To go over pages 86-91 in the book. To have students
do vocabulary taco style
Homework: To complete a worksheet on the vocabulary words.
Tuesday, Oct 14 Translation Tuesday
Objective: To learn through translation.
Do Now: pg. 514, #1 (1-8)
Procedure: The teacher will go over a translation in class and
then the students will complete a translation to turn
in for a grade.
Homework: To complete the packet, pgs 3-1, 3-2
Wednesday, Oct 15
Objective To use the vocabulary in a conversation. To learn some
additional vocabulary
Do Now: Questions from the translation
Procedure: Teacher will have students ask each other questions from
pgs. 92-93 Then students will copy down new words on
pgs 94-95 in their taco style vocabulary
Homework: To complete the packet, pgs. 3-3 and 3-4
Thursday, Oct. 16
Objective: To use the vocabulary learned in conversation.
Do Now: pg. 514, #2 (1-6)
Procedure: To use the vocabulary learned. The students will
divide a piece of paper in four parts and put the
four seasons and on each block they will draw an
activity done in that season.
Homework: To complete the drawing and study for a
vocabulary quiz
Friday, Oct 17
Objective: For the students to be tested on the vocabulary
learned this week and to play a game to reinforce
learning.
Do Now: pg. 514, #3 (1-4)
Procedure: For the students to complete the Do Now and then
take their vocabulary quiz. After they will play
a game testing them on their knowledge of the
vocabulary.
Homework: None for the weekend.

Objective: To review for the 9 week test
Do Now: Daily Sparkle
Procedure: Students will complete their study guide
Homework: To complete the last page in their packet for chapter 2
Tuesday, Oct 7
Objective: To review for the 9 week test
Do Now: Daily Sparkle
Procedure: Students will complete their study guide The teacher will
review the spoken part of the 9 week test (6/8 class will
have their 9 week test)
Homework: To study for the 9 week test
Wednesday, Oct 8
Objective: To review for the 9 week test
Do Now: Daily Sparkle
Procedure: Students will complete their study guide. The teacher will
review the spoken part of the 9 week test. There will
be games to reinforce the learning done this 9 weeks
Homework: To study for the 9 week test
Thursday, Oct 9
Objective: To review for the 9 week test
Do Now: Daily Sparkle
Procedure: Students will complete their study guide. The teacher will
review the spoken part of the 9 week test. There will
be games to reinforce the learning done this 9 weeks
(9th period takes their 9 week test)
