Do I need a library card to check out a book?

Yes, you do! The first time you check out a book, a member of the library
faculty will fill out a card for you. This card will stay on file for the
duration of your time at Clinton High. Also, please have your student ID
handy for the first visit.

How long can a keep a book?

Two weeks. When you check out a book, a date is stamped on the "Due Date"
slip inside each book showing the specific date the book is due back. IF you
need to keep a book longer than the two weeks, bring it to the library to
renew your check out.

When can I come to the library?

The library has an open schedule. Any student may come to the library
between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise
stated. The only exception is if the RED SIGNS are posted stating that a
class is in session. When you see these signs, please come back later
in the day.
