Students will discuss sample section from the state test. Students will
discuss techniques to develop their reading comprehension. Students will
work "The Bat Patrol" section together. Students will turn this packet in
for a grade.
HW- Students will a practice packet 1-8. Students will apply the same skills
we discussed today to complete the handout. (Due Thursday)
September 3
Students will read "Everday Use" in class. Students will discuss conflict
and characterization.
HW- Students will complete section of the practice state test.
September 4
Students will finish "Everyday Use" and will compare and contrast
characters. Students will discuss homework packet
September 5
Students will finish discussing packet (if needed)
Students will begin practice test.
