Thank you for taking out the time to visit my web page. It has been my
pleasure to have worked at Coffeeville High School over the past 20 years as
a Special Education Teacher. Over the last three years, however, I have also
taught Building Trades along with Special Education. As a SPED teacher, my
primary focus has been on Life Skills and Career Preparation. That being
said, I have taught skills that students will need to function successful in
the world of work. Some of these skills include: ceramic pottery, drawing,
culinary arts, and other hand-on skills to facilitate student growth to its
fullest potential.
As a Building Trades instructor, my primary objective is to help students
gain a basic knowledge of four basic skills: carpentry, brick masonry,
plumbing, and electric wiring. Each students will be required to take and
pass the C-PAS exam in order to successfully complete the course. Students
that pass the exam will have an opportunity to receive a scholarship in
Building Trades.
The mission of Coffeeville School District is to provide an educational
climate where all students have an opportunity to achieve academic success,
develop physical and emotional well-being, and become productive and
responsible citizens within a setting that is as safe and secure as possible.
