Classes will resume on August 1st, 2012. In the fall, returning students who have not yet passed each subject test, will retake the tests they need.
Students have a maximum of two school years in the high school GED program. At the end of the school year, if a student still has not fully passed, he/she will have the option of returning the following school year to complete the tests. Students and parents will be notified of results before the end of the school year and an option letter will be sent for them to return.
Please Note: Five absences between testing sessions will disqualify students from testing. There will be no exceptions to this rule. On 3 absences, parents will be required to come in for a conference. We have numerous holidays between these dates, so students should use those holiday breaks to take care of any business outside of school.
Tardies: Students are considered tardy after 8:30 am. If a student is not present by 8:30 am, he/she will not be allowed into class without a parent/guardian personally signing the student in at the office. Students reporting after 8:30 will need a legitimate excuse from the guardian.
Also, please be aware that checkout time is 1:00. If a student needs to leave earlier than that, a person on the checkout list must come in and sign the student out. Students should not be checking out early unless there is a very important reason.
