Ebooks are coming to a library near you! Actually, this one.
The library has begun purchasing FollettShelf ebooks. We hope to be able to offer online checkout of titles during the summer. Students (and faculty) can use an Internet browser to read or checkout a Follett eBook at any computer that can access the library's electronic catalog. Follett eBooks can be checked out online where they can be accessed from any internet computer. Or they can be downloaded to a specific computer where they can be read offline.
For more information, follow the FollettShelf link on the library homepage.

Teachers, please send us your reading lists for next year and we will make sure that we have a copy available for your students.
The iPad carts are available for checkout in the library. If you have completed iPad training, you may reserve a cart for your class. Please remember that checkout is for one day only, the teacher must come to the library to inventory, sign out, and transport the cart to the classroom. The cart must be returned by the end of the school day by the teacher who signed them out.
Mr. Scruggs recently loaded word processing and powerpoint applications on the iPads. PAGE is the name of the word processing program and powerpoint presentations can be created with KEYNOTE.
The iPod cart is also available for Exceptional Ed teachers who have received that training.

An individual hall pass and student ID will be required for student admittance to library. (Due to continued breakdown of the ID machine, students may be passed to the library without a student ID).
The library is open until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Our new catalog is available "on the web." Please click on "Catalog" from our homepage and add to your favorites...
The library has two computers in the Periodicals Room for teacher use. You may print to the local printer or to the library network printer.
Teachers, if you need assistance with MAGNOLIA, LEARN360, CHANNEL ONE, or HOTCHALK, we have handouts with login instructions and passwords. If you would like to schedule a training session on MAGNOLIA for your students (or for you), please stop by the library.
If you have resource needs for your department or course, please ask the librarians. If you have assigned a reading list to your students, please send us a copy.
