Coach Papagolos started coaching after graduating from Oklahoma in 1979.
Papagolos led Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas to two
district titles the past eight years. She leaves Texas with a 157-96-3
overall record and several coaching accolades. She was the All-Bay Coach of
the Year in 2001 and won two district coaching titles and two area coaching
awards in the Corpus Christi area. She also coached the South Texas Showcase
Fastpitch team in 2006 and led Carroll to district titles 2001
and 02 and made play-off appearances in 03, 04, 05, 06 and 07. Three
straight year she took her teams to the regional semi-finals in the state.
She has four grown children and two grandchildren.
