Why do I need to sign my child's math book if he misses 5 or more on the page?

Our math program builds each day on what the student has already 
learned. It is very important not to get behind.  By getting the 
math book signed, parents are aware immediately if their child is 
having trouble in math.

Why does my child have to write his homework down every day when it is written on Teacher Web?

Two reasons:  Sometimes I change an assignment after it is 
published on Teacher Web.  A child needs to take the 
responsibility to copy his assignment from the board.
