Math - Measuring to the nearest cm, multiplication, Roman Numerals
Science - Habitats for Plants and Animals
Tests this week:
Wednesday - begin testing 2, 3, and 4 multiplication facts (mixed uop)
Thursday - reading, math, practice spelling
Friday - Rnglish (Review p. 164-167 in green book), math test on "Need to
Know" sheet, first three boxes (You will see what I am talking about when you
look at the sheet in binder.)
Important dates:
Feb. 8 - Progress reports
Feb. 20 - Presidents' Day - out of school
March 8 - 1/2 day of school for teachers' meeting - 11:25 dismissal
March 8 - End of grading period
March 9-16 - Spring Break
Kate Wheeler is our Student of the Month for February.
We will be working on our classroom book during this month. Each child will
be represented in the book. THe book will be published by Studentreasures. I
am sending ordering information home today so you can order a copy. I need
all order forms back even if you chose not to purchase a book.
