I taught 27 1/2 years in public schools in Florida and Mississippi before
retiring and coming to Oak Hill. This is my twelfth year at Oak Hill, and I
love teaching here. I have previously taught third through sixth grades.I am
very excited to be teaching second grade this year. It is something I have
always wanted to do, and this is my first opportunity to do so.I enjoy the
students, teachers, administrators, and parents at Oak Hill. I find that they
are all easy to work with. My husband is a retired high school administrator
and now is the director of the Caledonia YMCA. I have a married son and five
grandchildren. I enjoy reading, working out at the Y, and playing with my
grandchildren.
My mission is to provide a safe, comfortable environment in which all
students can grow socially and excel academically.
