4TH GRADE EXAM SCHEDULE AND GUIDE
5-18 Social Studies and English
Social Studies will be a map of the USA and the students will put the state
abbreviation on the correct state. They have a color copy of the map in their binder so
that they can start studying
English will be all the parts of speech. They will label parts of a sentence with
the correct part of speech. We have gone over all of the parts of speech and we are
reviewing them each day in class. Noun, verb, adjective, adverb, prepositions and
conjunctions.
Example: The big yellow cat ran quickly across the car.
5-21 Math and Spelling
Math will be a cumulative review of everything we have learned. Please make sure
you review ALL measurements.
Spelling will be set up in the format of picking the correctly spelled word. It will
come from the next 4 weeks of spelling list so make sure you save each weeks. There
will be 50 words.
5-22 Reading and Science
Reading will be vocabulary and comprehension from Old Yeller.
Science will be like a regular chapter test but will be 2 chapters, Unit E Chapter
3 and 4. These are shorts chapters so it should be pretty easy.
