HI!! Welcome back to OHA. This is my fourth year back at OHA teaching 4th
grade. I have taught at OHA 7 years in addition to being Director of
Sylvan Learning Center. I have a great passion for learning, giving
students new ways to learn and express what they already know.
A little about my personal life- I am married to a wonderful man, Jamey
Ballard, who is a State Farm agent here in West Point. We have lived here
in West Point for about 9 years and we love it. I have a son who was born in
December of 2006. He is full of energy and definately keeps Jamey and I
busy.
I have lots of hobbies: I love to read. I have two horses and two dogs ( a
black lab and an English mastiff). I enjoy running. I ran my first half
marathon last December and am looking forward to my next. I developed an
adventrous side this last year and learned to surf and did 2 sprint
triathlons this summer.
