This is my 6th year as the Pontotoc Elementary School Librarian and
Media Specialist. I have taught school for 28 years! I received my Bachelor
of Arts degree in Elementary Education, and my Master's degree in Curriculum
and Instruction from Ole Miss. Recently, I renewed my certification with the
National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. I have been a Nationally
Board Certified teacher since 1999.
I am married to Dennis Robbins, who is a football coach. We have
three children: Dustin, Mallory, and Kaleb. Kaleb is a senior at Ole Miss.
Mallory attends UMMC in Jackson, where she is studying to be a pharmacist.
Dustin is married to Lerissa. He is a pilot, who flies airplanes for
Mesaba/Delta Airlines. I enjoy playing and reading with my three
grandchildren: Alden, Ava, and Aubrey!
I love to teach and encourage children to read. I think that
learning can be fun and I want library time to be fun, too.
