PLACE BOOK BAGS, PURSES, BOTTLES, ETC. ON TABLES IN THE CENTER OF THE ROOM
WHEN YOU ENTER THE ROOM. DO NOT PLACE ANY ITEMS ON THE FLOOR.
Students should place their Computer App. binder and a pen/pencil inside
their desk each day.
STUDENTS SHOULD READ THESE GUIDELINES BEFORE BEGINNING THEIR WORK:
Save all classwork in your student folder on the network and not where the
textbook tells you to save -
Use a header and include the following:
NAME, BLOCK #, DATE and IDENTIFY YOUR WORK
(Example: Session 1.1 Quick Check, Essential Terms, ETC.
Print Timed Writings and Skill Builders if you have 5 or less errors -
All Timed Writings will be 3 minutes -
Proof all work -
Make-up work after you complete the current assignments -
When communicating with the teacher that all of your assignments have been
completed, sign the "Completed Assignments Form" on the clipboard -
Always complete assignments in the order listed -
Alphabetical seating chart will begin Friday, January 25 -
IMPORTANT:
Students should not use headphones in class for any reason.
Students should only use the internet for educational purposes.
Students should not open videos on the internet.
Students should not go to the internet or play computer games without asking
the teacher first.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
As a student in Computer Aplications at RHS, you will learn the most
important topics of Microsoft Office 2007. You will become familiar with
essential computing concepts and the Windows XP operating system. You will
learn file management, the basics of browsers and email, and overview
Microsoft Office 2007.
The first application unit covers Microsoft Word 2007, followed by a unit on
Microsoft Excel 2007. You will then learn to integrate the features of
microsoft Word and Excel.
Next, you will learn to create, build, and maintain a Microsoft Access
database, followed by a lesson on integrating Access with Word and Excel.
The last application you will cover is Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, where you
will create and modify a presentation, then integrate PowerPoint with
the previous three applications. Finally, you will learn to create Web pages
using Microsoft Office 2007.
