How does the reading log work?

Please make sure your child reads a total of at least 2 hours per
week at home. You can divide the 100 minutes into five 20-minute sessions,
four 25-minute sessions, or whatever works for your family. After each
reading session, have your child log the amount of time read. I will hand out
the weekly reading logs on the first day of each week, and I need them turned in
no later then the following Monday morning. You may have your
child read independently or you may read aloud to your child. Some children
enjoy taking turns reading with a parent. You can even include time that your
child reads to a younger brother or sister!

What if an assignment is not turned in on time?

If an assignment is not completed on time, a homework notice
will be sent home to be signed and returned the next day. This is a method of
communication to let you know your child had a missing assignment.
