The last week of school was certainly a busy one with all the Christmas activities.
The children enjoyed themselves and so did I. I would like to thank everyone for your cards, gifts,
donations to our party and for all your assistance during the year. I truly appreciate all your help.
I couldn't do it without your cooperation!!!!! I wish you all peace, health and happiness for 2010!!!
During the first two weeks of January I will be doing
assessments of the children. Progress reports will be sent home in the
later part of the month and a parent conference time will be arranged.
More info to come mid-month in the Friday folders on this.
Preschool adhers to a strict sick policy. This not only protects your
child but the others as well. As the the seasons change unfortunately colds
and flu start to surface. Please be considerate of others and keep your
child home if they are not feeling well. As mentioned above, preschool
adheres to SFX's sickness policy. We have no means to take care of a sick
child. If your child is not feeling well, has had vomiting or diarrhea
within the past 24 hrs, has a temp of 99 or higher, a deep or continuous
cough or thick, runny, messy nose, please keep your child home. If your
child appears to have these symptoms in school you will be called to pick
your child up. Thank you to all parents for their cooperation in this
matter!!!!
Outdoor play is an important part of preschool. Please keep this in
mind while dressing your child for the day. As the weather gets colder they
may need warmer clothes. Hats, mittens and warm coats are needed as we
still go out in the colder months. Please try to avoid gloves and opt for
mittens for your child. The children have a difficult time with the fingers
on gloves but put mittens on with ease.
