I was born in Cowansville, Quebec. A rural town about 1 hour outside of
Montreal. I attended English schools while in Quebec and learned French
throught the "core" French program. Living in Quebec also presented me with
many opportunities to be immersed in French situations and to learn by
speaking in everyday situations. It is my experiences of learning French in
natural settings that help me to understand how the Intensive French program
will work within the classroom.
I have lived in Riverview for the past 12 years with my family. I have
taught for several years in School District 2 and am now
teaching my 5th year at Salisbury Middle School.
