Dear Parent/Guardian:
Our 9th and 10th grade AVID students have the opportunity to attend our 1st
AVID field trip to the Coastal Ropes Course. The trip is planned for November
5, 2007. We will leave AHS at 8:30 and return around 1:30.
Students who are permitted to attend must have a B or higher in all Academic
classes. They must not be a behavior issue in any class. All students have
written responses to specific questions regarding the trip. Questions
included, why should you be invited to go? What would be reasons to keep
student from attending? Would you participate? And finally, why would you
want to attend?
Students who are not permitted to attend this particular trip will have an
assignment at school for the day. Students will have a writing assignment
that correlates with the activity.
Please look over the attached information and fill out the needed
information. Any questions please e-mail rmeek@nhcs.k12.nc.us or
