AVID:
AVID is a program that is designed to help the student in the middle. These students have the motivation to want to do well. Often, AVID students are the first in their family to go to college.
AVID offters the support to those students who may otherwise not have a support system. AVID elective covers note taking, organization, SAT prep
There are AVID classes at AHS for 9-12th grades.
AVID IS NOT:
AVID is not a study hall. AVID is not an easy class. AVID is not a joke.
