I was born in Surry County and moved to Davie County in January 2000. I graduated from Lees McRae College in May 2001. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have a 10 year old daughter, Makenzie who is entering the 5th grade this school year. She is the light of my life!
I began working at Cornatzer Elementary School in the fall of 2001. Over the last 10 years of my teaching experience, I taught Kindergarten as well as First Grade. I'm very passionate about my job and always strive to meet the needs of all learners. My goal is to make a positive difference in the life of every child.
