About The Teacher

  Welcome to Second Grade!   I am very excited to be teaching here at Rachel 
Freeman School of Engineering.  I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas 
and moved to Wilmington in August 2006.  I graduated from the University of 
Arkansas at Little Rock and taught second and third grade at Rockefeller 
Elementary in Little Rock.  This is my third year in New Hanover County 
School District and I can’t wait to get started.      
  I have planned a number of fun and exciting activities for our year. It is 
important for students to have a good attitude and a willingness to follow 
school rules.  I promote a positive and exciting learning environment.  
Please encourage your child to get plenty of sleep during school days so 
that we can have an effective day in our classroom.  Let's work together and 
have a great year!
